Travel a lot and this last weekend tpms alarm went off. My outer dual tire valve started to leak. When I got home it was down to 30 pounds from normal 60. By next morning I was down to 20. Used the compressor for first time. Set the mode to tires, set the pressure to 60, hit the start button. Within 5 minutes the compressor shut off, tire was at 60 just like the compressor was set for. HINT, it used up every bit of the smaller Ryobi battery. I have 2 chargers installed in my van, so I always have a fully charged battery. I would recommend using the larger batteries for higher pressure tires.

I’ve had the smaller Ryobi Inflator for a while, and while it does keep going and going like the E***gizer Bunny, it doesn’t do anything very fast or with power to spare. Kind of like an old VW bug I had in the 70’s. I thought this grown-up sized Ryobi would give me the power, speed and quality lacking in the smaller unit, but all I got was bigger. Well, maybe even greener also. When an item is a questionable shade of lime green, you can kind of overlook that if the item is small and cute and one can hide it in one’s pocket or tool box, but increase the item’s size by 10 X and you’re way past something you can just overlook, or hide quickly if your neighbor the NASCAR engineer walks up.. I still felt like the bigger Ryobi was just as cheaply made as Ryobi Jr., and was struggling to get its work done. It made knocking and banging noises that left me holding my breath wondering if the poor thing needed cpr or something, or if I was going to perish in a flaming explosion of lime green plastic parts. That is no way to live, my friends. Instead of trading up my VW to a Mercedes S550, I’d only traded in my VW bug for a VW camper — a slower, heavier and even more underpowered version of what I had before. So I sent it back, and am currently seeking my S550.

I use this to blow up my kayaks. I got it because it uses the same batteries as my Ryobi tools. Dies the job but a bit loud. A little longer air tube would also be nice.

Absolutely love this! Very handy!

Compact easy to use fast. In less than a year the pressure reading is stuck on 14.5 lbs. I googled it. To zero it press start and mode button with it powered up till the display flashes. It now reads zero again. When zeroed out it’s accurate.

Great replacement for a compressor or those cigarette lighter pumps. Best part is I can use my other batteries for my drill and other tools to make it work.

Great little pump thatโs easy to use. I love that you set the pressure you need and it stops automatically.

I havenโt ctually timed it but I should compare this to my older model. This seems to pump slower though. Works in a pinch.
