Good quality tool but the blades in this kit cannot be inserted properly without sniping off the ends and sanding a bit, even after loosening the two set screws. I still recommend the motor, but buying the entire kit is a poor choice. I wrote for advice from CP on their website but did not hear back from them. Rather than bothering Amazon with a return, I’ve decided to cut all the ends on my blades to make sure the hole in each blade aligns properly after full insertion. After reading about blade problems I bought the entire kit to make sure I would get compatible blades. That ended up to be a mistake on my part.

I bought it in a kit to save myself the hassle of not having to go buy the blades separately but the blades are not even correct for the tool. This issue just annoys me more than it should.on the other hand though, i bought some hacksaw blades, cut them into 3 and drilled a hole in the back and I had myself cheap and effective blades. The tool itself though is insane. once You get the right blade on there, it cuuuuuuutttsssss like butter. I like CP air tools and I put them through their paces daily and they are yet to let me down.

I’m a professional who uses this saw every day for sheet metal fabrication. I’ve used the snap on and it’s an amazing tool. The snap on is fast smooth and has the ability to make scroll like curves. When I got the CP it only took me a few hours to realize the guide on this unit is holding the saw back from the same performance as the Snapon. So remove the guide and this machine will feel and perform like a saw more than twice the price. The quality is good. The power is good. I’m happy with my purchase

Works great! My old Matco one took a dump after 15 years and other friends of mine had this model and loved it. I saw it was on sale and got one. Works great.

excellent saw especially for aluminum. Does not wear out your hand like the IR product line (Snap-On too) and cuts MUCH better! I’ve read some reviews that removing the guide makes cuts easier and more maneuverable… True, but be prepared to destroy the chuck. It will end up having to be over-tightened and split, or the back side of the blade will wear away the aluminum chuck. At this point, buy a new saw… its cheaper than finding replacement parts. This mistake happens constantly in my shop. Look at some reviews for a sample pic. Bottom line, take care of it, and if you are making heavy cuts, use the guide.

Powerful little saw. Comfortable and easy to use.

SO much better than using an angle grinder type of tool. No sparks, thin curf cutting, and ability to get into tight spaces or cut precise curves. Low vibration and lower air consumption than most air saws means I can use my 2hp 30 gallon home compressor. I do go through the blades that came with the tool fairly quickly but it’s worth it to me to get such quality cuts.

As many have said, this thing blows through sheet steel with great speed. The swivel end is terrific for dealing with the hose – very handy. It’s easy to operate and there is very little vibration. I have several CP air tools and properly maintained they have all been trouble free. It’s an amazing little saw.The only downside… the blades. The ones they supply don’t fit the chuck. Wha da…. That little hole in the blade is meant to engage between two sets screws. Since the chuck is aluminum you don’t want to crank down too hard to pin the blade through friction. If you line up the hole the set screws grab the hole and you’re off to the races. To make the supplied blades work I had to trim off the end. Also, finding thinner blades for making tight turns in a pain. I ordered some that didn’t fit unless you remove the guide. I finally took the advice of others and just bought a pack of bi-metal hacksaw blades and cut/shaped them to fit. Finding reasonably priced air saw blades that fit shouldn’t be such a PITA.
