CP’s are great and this standard duty is as well. I do not work on my car every day like a pro does, but when I need it, it does what I need it to do. Keep it oiled, wiped down, and don’t abuse it, and it will take care of you like mine did.

Lightest one I have, torque is what I expect from CP even in the lowly 3/8 drive. You won’t be removing lugs with it but a sticky cam cover bolt might pop when you don’t expect it. Seems to need a few more drops of oil during use to keep the heat off the handle than some of my others. Other plus red handle does not fade into the jumble of wires and tubes in the modern under hood menageries.

Received the ratchet today, used it to assemble my new wheel barrow, worked like it should. I was pleased to see that it was made in Taiwan and not in china. The tool is well made for the price point.Time will tell. It is a replacement for a IR that died on me.

does not come with adapter for air hose.. frustrating

Purchased based on six reviews, none lower than a three. I should have opted for an air ratchet with more reviews! The first one I ordered froze after using it just a few times. Air would stream out of the exhaust vent, but the ratchet would not rotate. I reversed it several times, and then manually rotated the socket adapter and it started working again — for about ten seconds. Then it froze again. I have a pretty large air compressor with the regulator set to 135psi and all of my other tools work great. I use oil in my tools every time I get them out of the drawer. The newly-exchanged replacement worked great… the first time. The second time I tried to use it the same exact thing happened — it froze in mid rotation and short of manually turning it I couldn’t get it to work correctly. Returned and refunded!

A great working tool for the price. Worked so well, that I purchased the 1/2 inch drive for my other sockets. I use these on work I encounter. I have limited strength in my arms and both models aid me well. Best purchase I have made.

Great torque and speed, does super well at work BUT the handle gets really hot during usage. I oiled it and continue to oil it but it doesn’t help. I live in Las Vegas so in the summer it’s crappy to use but really nice in the winter. ?

pricey for resultmine worked good for 4 month then became unusable due to slipping headparts to fix are 77 plus ship and taxlooks like ill be heading to harbor freight for their cheapo 22 dollar ratchet which is compareable to this one in every way
