I can’t speak to how it apply for professional use, but I can say this thing has been incredible for the home remodeling we’ve done. We just bought a house this year that was apparently used as some sort of free range petting zoo. The flooring all had to be ripped out and replaced due to smell, and I pulled pretty much every piece of trim in the house to get it cleaned and re-stained while we painted and laid floors. This nailer and compressor made re-installation a snap. At least for me, it shoots perfect every time in floor and door trim. It’s leaps and bounds over the few little AC plug-in brad nailers I’ve tried, and always been very disappointed with. It was well worth the cost, which is not bad considering you’re also getting a modest air compressor which I’ve gotten other use out of as well. The compressor is not super beefy and won’t work for all applications, but it was more than adequate to use with a rental hopper for re-texturing a several walls. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this air compressor over 3 years ago to help me with building a new addition. It was the first time using air nailers, and it was well worth the money for someone who is a DIY. I used a Dewalt framing nailer, a roofing nailer , and the brad nailer with the compressor. Since I move at a careful pace, the compressor keeps up with my work. If I switched my triggers to touch and wanted speed, such as banging out a line of shingles on the roof, I am not sure if it would keep up. The dual gauges were easy to set the pressures for the guns, and the dual ports made it helpful if you are switching between tools. (I did not have two nailers working at the same time and cannot comment on the compressor managing two workers.) The brad nailer has been great to use, and has not jammed in the years I had it. The hose is low-end and short. It sprung a leak after a year and a half. I replaced it with a more durable, longer hose.

Love this compressor! My new best friend in the garage. Great pressure, useful size, and great accessories included. It is heavy, but that keeps it in place.

When I first unpacked and started using my Dewalt compressor I really liked it. It took a third of the time to compress the volume that the compressor it replaced took. It was reliable and held its charged air. Then a few weeks later it started leaking air. In fact it leaks so fast I can hear the air escaping. I can charge it to 100 and within 30 minutes it will be down to 5. I hate defective products.
