It’s well built great performing air compressor. It is not quiet, especially if used for interior home projects. Pressure switch settings should be set differently. It defeats the purpose of buying a higher pressure compressor if the low limit is set at 150 psi. I’d rather have it run less frequently for maybe slightly longer than have it come on frequently and run for less time. But that is just my opinion. All in all a great compressor so far.

The quick disconnect couplers on the compressor are industrial type. My existing air hoses have Milton V-Style plugs (S-760). The V-Style plugs don’t fit the industrial couplers on the compressor. To make my plugs work, I had to buy a couple of Milton V-Style couplers (S-765) to replace the ones on the compressor. I could have swapped out the plugs instead of the couplers, but the Milton couplers are better quality than the ones on the compressor. I thought V-Style and industrial fittings were supposed to be interchangeable but they are not! During that process, I discovered that the pop-off valve leaked, so I was forced to replace that as well. The leaky pop-off valve was a Chinese Chaochao brand rated at 225 psi. I replaced it with a Milton S-1090 rated at 200 psi. The new pop-off valve gives me an effective pressure of 150-160 psi. I seldom, if ever, have a need for more than 120 psi. I wound up spending another ~$45 for the new fittings. I’m certain I voided every warranty on the compressor but now it works the way I want. Contrary to other reviews, this compressor is LOUD. I do not recommend using it without hearing protection. Conversation when standing close to the compressor is impossible.

Itβs quieter than most when engaged. It has easy to use pressure knob. Easy to read gauges. Itβs a good buy.

Great price for a small, relatively lightweight compressor. Im not sure what fantasy land they get their decibel reading from though. I didnt get anything below 95 and up to 112. Its LOUD.

Good for heavy use

Easy to transport and use. I’ve lost my hearing and it is still loud. Use hearing protection.

I use this compressor almost everyday for construction work but mostly spraying texture on drywall. Holds steady psi with a binks and hopper. A little loud and heavy but a good size for 200psi.
