I had to send back the name brand ( I R) that was almost 2x the cost of this one. It had a terrible trigger action. This one has a direct drive air motor in a great ergonomic design The trigger feels and works great. It has ample power with a 4 cfm air supply at 90psi. I like the dual collets: 1/4β and the optional (and included) 1/8β for using smaller scale tools when necessary. It also includes collet wrenches and male quick disconnect fitting. Itβs a very good value, donβt hesitate.

I had to cut and grind flush 29 1/4″ studs on the inside of an enclosure I was re-purposing. At first I tried using the Husky straight die grinder that I had received as a gift a year or so ago. After a few cuts, I decided to try this die grinder, and was surprised at the difference in power. The Autolock (not sure that’s really the name of a company… there’s no markings on the product or paperwork) is a much better tool. I used a 3″ cut off disc, flap wheel and sanding discs to finish the job. It would’ve taken twice as long with the Husky grinder. I’ll probably buy 2″ discs for the Husky, and use this one solely for 3″ discs since it has enough power to use them. I think it’s a great die grinder.

It doesn’t seem to have the rpm ,no matter how you adjust the knob.Grinder seems to look about with a 2 inch nylon disc.I probably will return it and select a different one.

Works as it should, and looks nice, too.The wrenches are kind of worthlessly short, though. The driveshaft hex is 12mm, but the collet nut is an inch size, 5/8, iirc. Odd, but no biggie.

Bought this after much research. My old die grinder died. This one was a good buy for the price. Had lots of good reviews.has a really easy air adjustment flow control. It does not freeze your had as you use it. It has good power to it. It uses a lot of air , but then any decent air tool does. I USE IT ALMOST DAILY AND AM TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE. If it dies someday I will replace it with another for sure.
