I do not recommend this product. First the Ingersol Rand air sander has some issues. Lube frequently is the recommendation from others. It’s really off balance in this application and the sander itself is not anything better than a $25 sander from a tool discount chain. The blade is very flexible and it’s very hard to get a flat cut on a stud cavity. The good:It trims foamIt uses lots of air …. more than you think it does.It arrived quicklyIt was relatively easy to assemble. The bad:It’s awkward to use due to balance issues.I and my two helpers think it’s unsafe to use.It is very flexible which makes getting an even cut difficult.I don’t think the sander will last that long.We will wind up buying something else. Net of it is that the tools works, but is very hard to use. I recommend something else.

I had my manager Oder this saw for me. Huge mistake. In the first hour it worked twice as well as its electric counterpart. The red part with the handle is actually an air sander and is not designed for that blade custom blade that another company slapped on and caked it there own tool.It is unfortunate because it was amazing for the first hour before it started locking up.i called the number for the help hit line right on the side of the saw and they were confused why I thought there sander was a saw when I gave the model number.
