Caulk Master PG151 Product does not meet explantations. I can get 2/3 to 3/4 of the product through the gun. After that air come blowing out with the caulk. I was not able to find a phone # to get tecnical help support. I even searched on the web. I am using the caulking gun but when the caulk starts blowing air I have to put the caulk into a manual gun to get the rest out. Not what I though the product would do. I am dissapointed.James

This is a great tool. Way better than hand pumping. Only one thing. While using the large tubes I had to first put the tube in the manual gun and get that first part of the tube unstuck and switch over to the Caulk Master. When I tried to use the Caulk Master for that first “unsticking of the tube” it would flip the plunger in the tube on it’s side. Kinda messy then. It comes with two gaskets (different thicknesses). You will need them for the large & small tubes.

I didn’t get to use it for awhile. Initially I mistook the loose gasket ring as an extra (replacement ) for the one already installed in the gon handle. Air kept bypassing the larger tube and not moving the disc inside the tube. Once I installed the “extra gasket ring” behind the base of the tube it started working like a champ. I’m sealing the expansion cracks in a fairly large driveway area -around 25-30 of the 32ounce tubes so having the air powered gun is saving a lot of strees on my hands and wrists by not having to use a manual gun. Now that i’ve got it working I love it. The air bypass system for partial trigger strokes works rather well too. I’ve already told my closer neighbors hey we have a new toy in the neighborhood! For anyone who has smaller hands like I do I would highly recomend this gun as a muscle saver. If mine ever breaks I will get another one just like it.Steve Goldsmith

I needed a better way to dispense 28 oz tubes of very thick Quickrete Construction Adhesive on retaining wall blocks. This worked OK. It turned a painfully slow job into a reasonable effort. Its not a pro grade tool but it is much cheaper than those tools. I like that it can use 10oz tubes as well but haven’t tried them. There is no ram, only air pressure pushes the tube’s cup against the material. This can be a flaw with cheaply made tubes like Quickrete. On a partial tube that had been used with a hand powered gun, in this gun, the thin metal cup turned sideways in the tube stopping the flow of adhesive. The remainder of that tube was a loss. It happened with a new tube but I was able straighten out the cup and restore flow. It didn’t happen again after I reduced the pressure to 70lbs but the flow was slower.

This item did NOT live up to our expectations.we searched far and wide to find a caulk gun that would dispense the large28 oz caulk tubes. This one seems to be the only one around. We bought the gun and put it to use after a limited time of use, the large caulk split open and was ruined. Work came to a halt while searched the globe for replacement parts. No such spare parts exist so We had to purchase another one it too finish the project. The second one exploded in my wife’s Hand, injuring her wrist. We used 70 psi of air so we did not over pressurize it. This item is not worth cost. Poor quality and design. Tom, Bigfork, mt.

not as handy as the battery powered guns, and after buying this one I saw the Menards version for less money, but all and all…it did what it was advertised to do. We did exceed the recommended pressure and have a tube explode while in use. Made a real mess, but cant blame the gun for that. Parts were available but expensive.

Unit works well. I have only one complaint with the product, its quite difficult to get the cover latched in place when inserting a new cartridge. Once you get the cover in place, the unit works fine. Great time saver if you have a lot of caulk to apply.

I was searching for caulk in my old orders, saw this product which I bought in 2009. I was surprised at the low ratings. Mine is still working great after 12 years !!! I couldn’t ask for more. I did put a small adjustable regulator on the short supply hose so that I don’t have to mess with the compressor regulator, and don’t over pressurize the caulk gun. Five Stars.
