He loves it my dad never buys cheap tools. I bought this for him cause he is a heavy diesel mechanic and hates scraping gaskets esp at his older age. I was over at the shop and he was using it and was so happy to not be at it with a hand scraper. Seems to be well built to and for 70 bucks cant beat it.

I was working on a metal roof that had been foamed on the outside and needed to scrape sections off. When I saw this unit on line and read how it was used (scrape gaskets) I thought it would be just the thing. It is a sturdy and well made unit. I think I would need to sharpen the blades to get it to do what I wanted it to. I ended up just doing the work by hand, first with a long ice chisel and then clean up with a hand flat wood chisel. I’ll keep this unit around my shop and experiment with it and also sharpen one or more blades to see if i can use it for some other needs.

I am promptly returning this product. First, I attempted to unscrew the two bolts that hold the blade in-place. The kit provides a wrench to do such. They would not budge. I am a reasonable strong adult male who works-out with weights and these bolts kicked my bottom. I literally strained my groin in the process. I tried using a power driver with a hex attachment. Still, no movement. Unless you can bench press 450, do not buy this item. Also, the provide nipple is not quick release and thereby worthless for most compressor units.

Sweet little gadget…put it through it’s paces and it keeps kicking…had an issue with an over-torqued set screw. Called for a replacement and they had replacement parts to me in a few days…highly recommend these folks and their tool!
