   I had an older Craftsman pancake compressor die on me after 12 years, so this is its replacement. quite a bit quieter than my craftsman, and slightly higher PSI as well. does well around the garage for various small jobs. lightweight, easy to carry, love the new style pressure regulator. my only concern is the condition in which it arrived. This item was billed as “new” and it had a large abrasion on the side. Could have been due to shipping, could have been used, not sure, but this is the reason for the 4 star rating.

   I nearly didn’t buy this based on the ton of bad reviews. Well whatever problems there might have been in the past they are corrected now. The one I received is brand shiny new and without problems or deficiency’s. It works as it should and has not lost one ounce of air pressure when turned off and left sitting for days(unbelievable). I have a big 80 gallon one out in my shop/garage just don’t want to fire it up to do small jobs when it’s -20 here in the Dakotas winter. Well made quality product just as expected from Dewalt. It has gotten Quieter as it has got run in( short time). I would recommend this to anyone needing as small compressor for small jobs,also I like the 165 psi pressure rating. Very Happy with it. Durability is something I can’t speak about at this point, time will tell and I’ll let you know if problems arise.

   Best price I could find and does the job just fine. I needed a portable compressor to run air tools away from my shop and electricity. So I operate this with my small generac 2200 portable generator with no problems. Easily portable I can run tools and inflators wherever I need.

   I bought this to carry in my RV and happy I did! Storage room is small and the size was a big point to consider. It’s a lot less noisier than others I’ve had before. It doesn’t take long to build up the air.

   Compact and not too heavy But it should have wheels I put mine on a wheeled plant caddy. Now it’s perfect
