Want to save time? For most inflation jobs, you might think to use a clunky expensive air compressor. This isnโt true. Ryobiโs power inflator, the P737, is up to the task. It can inflate tires and most small inflatables found around the house. Kiddie pools, sports equipment, bike tires, even car tires are within this power toolโs reach. Add in the convenience of being attached to Ryobiโs famous ONE+ battery system, and youโve got yourself a winning tool that will last for years.
- ONE+ COMPATIBLE! This tool runs on the power sources used in Ryobiโs ONE+ battery system, making this purchase extra smart for the Ryobi veteran
- PORTABLE PISTOL PUMPING POWER: Ryobiโs P737 is smaller than most inflators, boasting an ergonomic pistol grip handle for easy use and transport. Keep it in the back of your truck! Strap it to your bicycle!
- SAVE MONEY AND TIME spent on purchasing extra accessories for other portable inflators. The Ryobi P737 boasts TWO high-pressure nozzles, a sports equipment needle, and an ONBOARD PRESSURE GAUGE
- SPECS: 20โ hose, 2โ pressure gauge, 0-150 PSI, 18V, 2.5lb, cordless operation
- STORAGE: a compartment at the base of the tool holds all bits and nozzles for your convenience

This is a great unit, upgraded with a digital readout now. The old version had a needle gauge and was difficult to read while operating due to vibration. This is NOT a good option for automotive tire pressure unless you’re only looking for 1-5psi. Anything more, like a full fill, is not going to happen. This must have a tiny piston meant for small jobs only. Bike tires, sports balls, and small inflatables are easy chores for this unit.Careful, it gets warm if in uses for long periods. One issue: When pressuring, the digital readout will give you a pressure, when you release the trigger, the pressure will drop several PSI, depending on what you’re pumping up. I’ve notices on bike tires it may be only 1-2 psi, but on a car, it’ll drop 4-5psi. Alway run it until you’re over your target and let it come back down after you’re done pumping.

The Ryobi inflator works great. Its super light and portable and works well with car and bike tires. I have a bunch of the batteries for other tools so its nice to just get the inflator by itself. 1 star off because, as another reviewer noted, the trigger is super easy to pull and its right where your hand wants to be. You tend to start it up every time you pick it up, but not that much of a big deal really.

This works well for inflating car tires, kiddie pool toys, and i even used it to blow out an a/c drain line with some creativity. Save the $2 in quarters every time the temperature drops for each one of your cars and inflate from the comfort of your driveway. It even tells you the psi on the screen so you donโt have to pull out a separate gauge. Great tool!

Works great but it !

Everyone needs one of these, they are powerful enough for most types of tires from bikes to pickup trucks

I already have a bunch of Ryobi tools, so I didn’t need to buy a battery since I already had several compatible batteries and chargers at home. This thing is great for what it is – a quick way to top off your tires without needing to run cords or drag tubes everywhere. It’s not super powerful, but it doesn’t really need to be for what it’s made to do.I have a sedan, a pickup truck and a motorcycle and this is great at quickly topping off the tires whenever they need attention. Recently the temps dropped where I live so all my tires were a couple pounds low, so I got all of them back up to spec in about 10 minutes using this thing. The only real quirk is that the pressure it gives while inflating is high, but once you let off the trigger the number it provides is fairly accurate. For example, to get 35 PSI, run it until about 36.5 and then let off the trigger to see what it reads – probably 34.5 or 35. Then give it a little bit more until you let off and it reads 35, then maybe give it another couple of seconds after that to account for what will leak out when you remove the chuck. Rinse and repeat. If you already have a Ryobi battery then this is a great accessory to include in your collection. While not as versatile as an actual air compressor, by the time your compressor is pressurized and you’ve ran the hose to your car this could already have most of your tires topped off, so for inflation purposes this is my go-to.

Just unboxed and used this tool to top up air on my two cars, no issues. used a 1.8A Ryobi One+ battery I already had from my weed trimmer tool. Plenty of juice.Added bonus is that my model came with a digital display which I really wanted, not analog. Helps ensure a precise fill.I agree with earlier reviews the trigger is not ergonomic. It’s poorly placed, too big and too sensitive. Ryobi missed the mark on the industrial design. It’s also hard to secure the hose to the tire nozzle. You have to put down the tool, push the hose into the nozzle and then lock it. Hence 4 starts instead of 5.Will update if things change.
