I’ve done a lot, and I mean A LOT, of research watching tons of videos posted by kind and helpful YouTubers hoping to find the perfect compressor for my basic needs. I got lucky and found a great price through Amazon Warehouse because the mount was damaged which I easily repaired. The weld connecting the engine to the mount failed for the previous buyer (maybe they were rough with it, that’s why I got mine half priced) and I can see this being an issue for low reviewers and rightly so. However once repaired this compressor is absolutely perfect for the weekend diy’er. Plenty of compressor power even at this small size. It is very heavy but the wheels and telescoping handle makes portability extremely easy. Most important–it is absolutely dead quiet! You don’t want to have an obnoxious loud unit bothering the neighbors (and your own hearing), you can easily maintain a conversation while this thing is on. Whether you get lucky with a deal or not this is one impressive unit when compared to other compressors in this price range. Those on a limited budget looking for bang-for-the-buck will find this to be a perfect buy.

I do a lot of research before buying…anything. This was no exception. I wanted at least 4 gallons, 150PSI, portable, and needed to be quiet. This checked all the boxes. The break-in time of 30 minutes seemed excessive but I followed the instructions. After that I turned it back on and let it fill. It shuts off at 150 and levels out around 145psi. I’m fine with that. The regulator works well ( I like the large knob? and the switch for the on/of is large and easy to flip. I ended up shooting over 500 pins tonight just to see how it performed and it worked great. I was able to sink 130 pins, 23GA, at 80psi before the unit kicked back on. It kicks in at 120psi and doesn’t take too long to refill itself. I love how small it is and the handle is really nice. I have absolutely no complaints. I am very pleased with the purchase so far. Let’s see how long that lasts.

Very quiet compressor. The noise level difference from my old portable compressor to this one is incredible. I used to cringe to run the old one outside as Iβm in a neighborhood of houses with lots 1/2 to 3 acres. Now I can run this one inside and the kids can still watch tv! At 36β itβs about 67 dbA. Also holds the pressure for days when itβs off. Being on wheels is a bonus plus they are a little soft which makes it quiet and smooth rolling on hardwood. Hopefully it will last years.

My last compressor lasted me 15 years. It suffered tumbles and tossing a fro my truck and built a lot of houses. It actually would still work, but the vibrations ended up tearing a small leak at a weld point. It was sad to see her goβ¦ and I bought this one because I wanted something compact and that had some air storage capacity.First off, this thing is QUIET! Weβre not talking just less noisy than the old rattle trap, weβre talking close the door and forget that itβs running quiet. Oh the years of getting the holy bejeezus scared out of me when old faithful would fire offβ¦. They are gone! Not only will this thing run framing nailers and finish nailers, if the tank is full it will give a kick to an air ratchet to bust loose sticky boltsβ¦. This little guy is sweet. I hope to get as much quiet life out of this as the old dinosaur, so far. Itβs great!

I’ve been using this compressor for about two years and have been pretty happy with its performance. Today I had my first problem, and the compressor is non-functional unless I can get a replacement part. To be fair I use the regulator all the time in my application. Still, I would expect it to last over two years. The pressure regulator knob stripped out and now turns freely. The regulator is stuck open, so the compressor can’t deliver air anymore at all. I guess it is time to see if this company has any sort of support.

Refill time is quick. The wheels and handle are super useful for moving it around the garage. It is a tad louder than my California Air Tools CAT-4710SQ but it’s faster and easier to move. It also holds it’s air pressure when off. So far it’s been a good buy.
